DNA Sunday School & Spiritual Lessons from Our Mothers

On Mother’s Day, we’ll begin the C&MA DNA series in Sunday School at 9:30AM in the sanctuary.  It’s a study of the Core Values of the Christian & Missionary Alliance!

Sunday’s Worship service begins at 10:30AM.  Bring the whole family, and learn some ways that God uses mothers (Psalm 131 and other passages) to teach us about Himself.

The End of Time

Join us for Sunday School at 9:30 and Worship Service at 10:30 on May 6 as we “finish” the Bible!

We’ve been working through The Story chronologically, and have finally come to our last session, entitled . . . The End of Time!  Guess what:  God wins!  And if we are on His side, we win too.

You are invited to be our guests for coffee and doughnuts in the fellowship hall after the service.  Bring a friend!

By the way . . .  do you need a gift idea for Mother’s Day?  There is a women’s retreat coming to Barre, VT on October 6, and tickets are already beginning to sell!  If you or someone you know might be interested in attending, and would like a ticket in time for Mother’s Day, see Sheryl Overstreet or call Renata at the church office.

Pray for Kairos

Sign up for a slot to pray for the Kairos prison ministry weekend  here.

Paul’s Final Days

Becoming like Jesus takes a lifetime . . . and then some.  Join us on April 29 to take a good look at your life.  Are you willing to allow God to do the work of “chiseling away” those aspects that are totally unlike Him?  What might happen in your life if you took that step?

Sunday School begins at 9:30, and Worship Service is at 10:30.  As we near the end of our chronological walk through the Bible, Session 29 of The Story will explain how Paul left a spiritual legacy behind in his final days.  We can do the same by allowing God to be in control.  Consider your priorities.  Are you up to the challenge?

For reminders of upcoming events, take a look at the items listed on the left, or click “calendar” for the complete schedule.

This Sunday: Paul’s Mission

Join us on Sunday morning as we begin to “connect the dots” in Session 29 of The Story.  The Old Testament message has been fulfilled in Jesus, and now it’s time to spread the word!  Paul shares the gospel all over his world, answering the most important questions of our lives:  What must I do to be saved?  How can I be sure?  What does it mean to be a child of God?  These are questions we must each answer – not only for ourselves, but for everyone who asks.  The answer is there – just “connect the dots,” revealing the big picture of God’s plan to the people He brings into our lives!

By the way . . . scroll down to our previous post to see some photos from our Easter breakfast!

New Beginnings

Join us on April 15 for Session #28 in The Story:  New Beginnings.  We’ve been working our way through the Bible!  Last week was the Resurrection of Jesus, and now we’ll talk about what happened next.  Join us for Sunday School at 9:30 and Worship Service at 10:30.

Youth Group for grades 6-12 will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall later on Sunday from 3:00-5:00.

Join us for the last session of the Parenting class (for parents of ages 0-18 years old) meeting from 3:30-5:00 Sunday in the church office.  All are invited to this DVD session by Dr. Kevin Leman entitled Have a New Kid by Friday.

Easter Service: He is Risen!

Join us on April 8 in Plattsburgh, NY for breakfast, followed by our Easter Sunday church service!

The breakfast begins at 9:00AM.  It’s free, and everyone is welcome, so bring your friends & family!

Our worship service is at 10:30:  The Resurrection!  We’ve been going through the story of the Bible in 31 weeks, and now a new message rings loud and clear.  “Out of death comes life!”

As Mary stood outside the empty tomb, she wept – until Jesus revealed Himself to her.  Has there been a moment when your eyes were opened, with greater clarity, and you came to know Jesus in a deeper way than you had before that moment?

We all yearn to enter a restored relationship with God.  Jesus died and rose again to make that possible!  Such amazing love.

Palm Sunday

Our Worship Service is at 10:30 with a message about Palm Sunday and what that means to us today.

Everyone is invited for coffee and doughnuts in the Fellowship Hall following the service.

If you are interested in being a part of the teaching ministry next year, grab a doughnut and join us for a meeting in the church office.
