Each summer, we like to give our Sunday School teachers a break, so we have now changed to our summer schedule!
From June 16 – August 25, Worship Service will begin at 9:30AM.
By the way, our national General Council was this past week. You can see some of the events and services by going to GENERAL COUNCIL!
General Council is where the new national President of the C&MA was elected. To learn more about him, go to Dr. John Stumbo.
CAMA Services has given $10,000 from their relief fund to help those affected by the fires in Colorado Springs. If you would like to help replenish the relief fund, donations will be accepted at CAMA for Black Forest Fire Relief.

Join us for Sunday School for all ages at 9:30AM on Sunday, June 2, 2013!
You’re also invited to Worship Service at 10:30! We will sing praises to our King, and hear what the Bible has to say about “Our Giving Attitude.”
Plan to stay after the service for a bit, and enjoy coffee, doughnuts, and cold beverages after the service. Everyone is welcome – bring your friends!
Youth Group (grades 6-12) will be meeting at the Thew’s house in Peru 3:00-5:00PM. Bring a swimsuit if you’d like to try out the pool . . . which is up to about 74 degrees right now.

Each summer, we like to give our Sunday School teachers a break. During the summer (beginning on Father’s Day) our Worship Service will begin at an earlier time. Sunday School at 9:30 and Worship at 10:30 will continue for 2 weeks, and then – our summer schedule begins!
From June 16 – August 25, Worship Service will begin at 9:30AM.

On May 19, the topic of discussion during our service will be Pentecost: A celebration of the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles. Did you know that Pentecost Sunday is traditionally celebrated 50 days after Easter? This year, that’s May 19th!
Youth Group (grades 6-12) will meet in the Fellowship Hall from 3:00-5:00PM this evening.
Summer Changes
Sunday School at 9:30 and Worship at 10:30 will continue for several more weeks, but summer change is on the horizon!
Each summer, we like to give our Sunday School teachers a break, and our summer Worship Service begins at an earlier time.
From June 16 – August 25, our Worship Service will begin at 9:30AM.
Take a moment to ask God how He wants you to show His love to your friends this summer, and make a plan.
Don’t let the summer get away from you. Plan special times after church with people who may not yet know God personally, and introduce them to the One who loves them most of all!

Sunday School (for all ages) is at 9:30AM.
- The adult group is learning about what it means to become a “Contagious Christian.”
- Grades 6-12 meet in the Conference Room in the church office area.
- Age 4 through 5th graders meet in the Fellowship Hall.
- The “Infant Nursery” is staffed and available for little ones from 0-3 years old.
Bring your friends and family to worship with us at 10:30AM! During this Sunday’s message, we will talk about tithing. Is it a legalism from the Old Testament? Does God really want us to give 10 percent of our money each week? Is it too much? Or too little?
- Nursery is available for ages 0-3 from 10:25 until the end of worship service.
- Children from 4-8 years old have the option of attending Children’s Church in the Fellowship Hall. Children who would like to attend will be dismissed just before the sermon begins.
Youth Group & Growth Group will not meet on Sunday, so you will have plenty of time to show God’s love to the mother(s) in your life!

The youth put on a wonderful performance last night at their dinner theater, Cindy and the Godfather. Youth Group will not be meeting this afternoon, to allow them to recuperate!

You are invited to worship Jesus with us at 10:30AM. This Sunday we will be discussing “Money: Borrowing & Lending” (Deut. 28:44-45).
Today is your last opportunity to purchase tickets to “Cindy & the Godfather,” a dinner theater presentation put on by our Youth Group! The dinner theater begins at 5:00PM on May 4th (this Saturday!) at the Rec Center on the US Oval. Tickets are $12 each. The price includes the play and a catered pork loin dinner with all the fixings!
The Youth Group will have play practice from 3-5PM in the sanctuary.

The Dinner Theater presentation, Cindy and the Godfather, will take place at the U.S. Oval Rec Center at 5:00PM on Saturday, May 4th. You will be served a delicious dinner while you watch (and interact with) the play! Tickets are on sale now for $12.00 each. You may purchase them after church on Sunday, or by calling Cindy at 565-6556. Get them NOW, because the event is catered, and they need to know how much food to prepare!

We will begin our celebration of Jesus’ resurrection with breakfast at 9:15 on Sunday, March 31. The men of our church have always enjoyed cooking it – and all of us have always enjoyed eating it! Invite your family and friends – visitors are always welcome!
